Camp Scholarships bring Soccer to BC Children

Another summer of soccer fun kicks off on July 5th. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Whitecaps Foundation will continue our camp scholarship program in 2010, this year giving more than 100 children the chance to take part in a camp – children who would not otherwise have the resources to attend. A donation of $150 provides a camp spot for a child.

The Whitecaps longest running community development program, our summer camps are five-day soccer extravaganzas in communities throughout Metro Vancouver. The camps emphasize skills development in a challenging, focused and fun environment. Approximately 1,400 youth between the ages of five and twelve will take part in camps throughout the summer.
