The Minister of Canadian Heritage has officially declared Nov. 15, 2009, as National Philanthropy Day in Canada.
In September, the Vancouver Chapter submitted a brief to the Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services, recommending that the government consider increasing the provincial portion of the charitable tax credit.
